Beulah Thomas Hite Heath, 89, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Granville Medical Center in Oxford.

A native of Mecklenburg County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Julius C. Hite and Lenora A. Hite. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Jim Smith. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson, N.C.

Surviving are four sons; Donald Heath, Jack Heath, Ben Heath, Tommy Heath all of Henderson, two sisters; Mary Ann Bush of South Hill, VA, Virginia Elizabeth Gee of Clarksville, VA, a special niece, Jean Riley of Oxford, eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben “Archie” Heath, a daughter, Becky Ramsey, three sisters; Marion Lee Wells, Lillian Wells, Katherine Hite, three brothers; Theodore Hite, Edward Hite, Algier Hite and a grandson, Bo Bo Ramsey.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Concord Baptist Church, 2509 E. Lyon Station Rd. Creedmoor, N.C. 27522.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home of her niece Jean Riley and her son Ben Heath.
